An Inaugural Solo Exhibit by Monglinh Darisme
Monglinh Darisme, previously known as Carol Nguyen, is an artist of Vietnamese descent. She was born in Prince George's County, Maryland, and spent her childhood between Maryland and Florida.
Her versatile creativity has been recognized in various fields, such as interior decor, fashion photography, art director, Nike collaborations, and innovative nightlife marketing in Washington D.C. Monglinh has a unique ability to transform ordinary things into opportunities for pushing boundaries that challenge the status quo. For this exhibit, Darisme will be showcasing her abilities through acrylic paint & origami.
Monglinh will be creating new original pieces for the exhibit within the context of self-discovery. Alongside exhibiting new artwork, the community oriented programming will reflect the values that have fanned the flames for continuous journey to self. Including but not limited to: light installations, gourmet tastings inspired by Darisme’s art and wellness event(s) through the duration of her residency
