About the Exhibit

“Capture the Moment” is an art exhibition about people taking photos of themselves and others as life happens. The pieces show everyday moments—friends spending time together, individuals taking selfies, and people capturing memories in real time. The artwork focuses on how taking pictures has become part of how we experience life. Some pieces show people carefully posing for their own photos, while others capture more natural, candid moments. Together, they highlight how photos help us remember and share our experiences.

This exhibition invites viewers to think about how cameras shape the way we see ourselves and our experiences, and how photography changes the moments we try to hold onto.

Artist Bio

TTerrell is a self-taught artist and art instructor who began showcasing his work professionally in October 2016.

Since his first pop-up event that year, his artwork has been displayed on billboards and featured in galleries and businesses throughout the DMV area, as well as across the United States and internationally. He has also hosted solo exhibitions and collaborated with major companies such as Porsche, Under Armour, Nike, and others.

His work has attracted the attention of notable figures, including U.S. Congress Representative Ayanna Pressley, Grammy Award–winning artist Pusha T, and professional athletes from the NFL and NBA, among others.
